Since the opening of the Carya only 4 players so far have achieved or broken the course record, which is counted from the Black Championship Tees.
2009 Simon Edwards (England) 66 Beko Pro-Am
Simon is unusual in that his career as a recognised PGA Professional has been focused on teaching golf. His playing career has been centred in North-East Region of England, in and around Manchester and occasional Pro-Ams
2010 Oscar Floren (Sweden) 63 Turkish Airlines Challenge
Oscar played on The Challenge Tour where he had one win, before graduating to the European Tour. His course record at Carya helped propel him to a play-off where he lost to a birdie on the first extra hole.
2016 Thorbjorn Olesen (Denmark) 62 Turkish Airlines Open
A 7-times winner on the European Tour Thorbjorn needs very little introduction. Playing against the elite of European golf, his course record helped him to a win at the 1st of the Turkish Airlines Opens, when it moved to the Carya.
2018 Thomas Pieters (Belgium) 62 Turkish Airlines Open
Another 7-times winner, 6 on the European Tour and now playing on the LIV Tour. Thomas equalled the course record at the Turkish Airlines Open, but sadly only finished T18 at the end of the tournament.
